Peer Support Academy: 20-Hour Basic Training Class
Learn the fundamentals of being an effective peer supporter from cross-trained emergency counselors and peers with “lived experience”. Class focuses on wellness, recovery, ethics, and mental-physical self defense. Clinicians and clergy are encouraged to attend. Active wear dress code.

Peer Specialist Academy: 40-Hour Advanced Training Class
The highest level of training available for peer supporters. The Specialist Academy is geared toward Police, Fire, EMS,Dispatch, Ski Patrol, Search & Rescue, Military and other types of first response teams and family members. Mental Health professionals hoping to work with this population are encouraged to participate in this training. Successful Peer Specialist Academy participants may go on to examination and apply for Colorado Certified Prevention Specialist designation.
