About the Event
Choose the Basic Peer Support class Monday and Tuesday 10/26-10/27, or Peer Specialist class Wednesday and Thursday 10/28-10/29, or BOTH all 4 days.
The highest level of training available for peer supporters. The Specialist Academy is geared toward Police, Fire, EMS,Dispatch, Ski Patrol, Search & Rescue, Military and other types of first response teams and family members. Mental Health professionals hoping to work with this population are encouraged to participate in this training. Successful Peer Specialist Academy participants may go on to examination and apply for Colorado Certified Prevention Specialist designation.
